Top Five Favorite Electronic Dance Music Songs - One EDM
The Electronic Dance Music Industry has had an exciting year in the year 2021. This is a period of significant growth for the industry, which saw many new artists making their mark on the Electronic Music charts. In this article we will be looking at the best songs of the year and trying to predict the upcoming year in the Electronic Music genres. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but rather a shortlist of songs that have been making the cover spots across the various major UK and worldwide radio stations. Enjoy!
This track is at number four on the list, and is the second track from the self-titled album. It was originally released as a single on Artymptitude (altitude). The main producer is Thomas Young. He has worked with everyone from LCD Soundsystem to Kanye West. His own musical interests include drum & bass, house, and chill out.
"Apathy" is the third song from the self titled album. It is an electro-swing-influenced song and was produced by none other than DJ Cajonfire himself. It was released on his radio show on BBC Radio 1. A heavy blend of hip hop, reggaeton, dance, and techno, the electronic music genre is represented by this track.
This song dropped on the soundtrack of the movie, Trumbo. It has also made its way onto the singles and BLS (backseat to pop) charts. Boasting an infectious vocal hook and a beat that call to you, this is sure to be a hit in the near future. It was previously released on the soundtrack to the film, The Hangover.
This is a very unlikely pop tune, but it just might be the next big dance music hit. With a slow and hypnotic pace, and a voice that will make you want to take your shirt off, this could be the sound of the millennium! One of Maroon's songs was featured in the documentary, We Are Rich. This dance tune is sure to cross over and become a staple at most dance music shows.
This is a dark, ominous sounding electronic dance tune. Although not too dreary, it can easily scare some people out of their shoes. After listening to it a few times, I think this could be the next big thing. Many electronic dance artists have already used this to their advantage and they seem to be quite pleased with it.
This is one of my favorite tracks from Jay Dynasty's album, No Limit. It is a dark electronic dance music masterpiece that features some guest spots from fellow artist, Push Low, as well as some fresh new talent. It's a great song and it has it's own feel and vibe that don't feel like it belongs to another artist. The lyrics are catchy and bring a nice dark feel to the song, which fits the overall feel and mood of the song. This is a huge step up from any other electronic dance music that they have released in the past.
While these are just a few of my favorite songs from albums that I have produced, there are many more out there. If you haven't checked out the latest by this producer, this is a great place to start. With so many styles of electronic dance music out there, and so many new artists that are entering the scene, this artist has set the standard that a lot of other producers are striving to follow. So if you're looking for some great dark electronica or new wave that hits hard, you owe it to yourself to check out the latest by him, Dynasty. You won't be disappointed and I don't think that he'll be leaving the electronic dance music scene anytime soon either.
